Zephaniah 3:17 (AMP)
“The Lord your God is in your midst,
A Warrior who saves.
He will rejoice over you with joy;
He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins],
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
This verse has showed up for me on different occasions with different circumstances. One more memorable encounter with this verse was when I felt defeated and lost sight of who I was. I asked the Lord for truth and He told me to read Zephaniah 3:17. After reading it I found peace knowing that the Lord was moving and fighting for me to come back and walk out my identity again. He saw me in my defeat and sings over me with shouts of joy, calling me back to Him.
Wherever you're at or however you're feeling know that the Lord delights in you and fights for you He is rejoicing over you with shouts of Joy! Let this love wash over you and settle you right where you are bringing peace.
My prayer for you
Father thank you for this reminder this morning, that you are mighty to save. Thank you for this great love that sees and knows us. Help us to embrace that today, come love on us. We just want to delight your heart today. Thank you Lord for truth, remind us of who we are today. We want to know you more, to be found in your presence. In Jesus Holy and precious name
