Bear one another's burdens

Galatians 6:1-10

My beloved friends, if you see a believer who is overtaken with a fault, may the one who overflows with the Spirit seek to restore him. Win him over with gentle words, which will open his heart to you and will keep you from exalting yourself over him.

Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other's troubles.

If you think you are too important to stoop down to help another, you are living in deception.

Let everyone be devoted to fulfill the work God has given them to do with excellence, and their joy will be in doing whats right and being themselves, and not in being affirmed by others.

Every believer is ultimately responsible for his our her own conscience.

And those who are taught the Word must share all good things with their teacher; a sharing of wealth takes place between them.

Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest.

The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted. If you plant the corrupt seeds of self-life into this natural realm, you can expect to experience a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seeds of Spirit-life you will reap the beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit.

And don't allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you've been planted is coming!

Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith!

Something I pray over my friends as well as friends who aren't believers is for those who are walking out their faith to be faithful to the call of God to encourage the people around them. It is in our nature to desire community. Leaning into a friend when we are discouraged. For us to be able to pour into our friends and family of the faith we have to be healthy. I will be very honest here and say it has been a long while that I've been the one who is overflowing with the spirit to help restore those who need it. I have been the one who is in a constant state of going to my people who are healthy.

We all have moments but dwelling in a spot where we aren't healthy does no good. How much more would be encouraged and ready to stand for another if we fought for ourselves to overflow in the spirit? How many would come to know Jesus and understand the heart of the Father? So much can happen for the kingdom if we start stepping into the presence. Once we do that and overflow into our friends with encouragement on our lips.. well I'd like to think we become unstoppable.

The words we speak we have to be careful with. If someone comes near for encouragement we have to be careful that we are encouraging them with truth because the words sown into that person could bring life or it can also bring destruction. Ultimately it is up to the person to take that word and line it up with the word and what the Lord says. We would not be good stewards of the word if it came from our interpretation only or what we have experienced. Inviting Holy Spirit to be in that conversation allows truth by the spirit to be spoken.

My absolute favorite thing is when I get to sit with my friends and we talk about Jesus. We talk about what we're learning, how we're growing, and the ways the Lord is moving in our lives. Those conversations I absolutely live for! They give me so much joy and excitement to further pursue the Lord and minister to others. If ever there are people in your life that you feel like you are inviting to experience or know the Lord; the ones you are having conversations with or are praying for them, do not grow weary! Continue to press in! Their breakthrough is on the horizon, what they do with the words you have left them with is up to them to seek further. It is not your job to carry the salvation or faith of the ones around you. However it is our delight to carry the burdens of our friends with them. Making their load light by dividing their sorrows.

You plant the seed by words from your overflow with the Lord and let Him do the rest. He comes after the hearts who are yearning for more of Him. It is our joy and obedience to the Lord to love on the people around us. This is an area I personally would like to grow in. I want to be a blessing to others with my words and actions led by the spirit. I hope this would be the same for you, especially now as it seems the days are hard and the spirits of the ones around us are downcast with negativity. Lets press in so that we can be a blessing to those around us.

My prayer for you

Father, thank you for the community around us. Help us to be intentional with the people placed in our lives. Lord cause our overflow with you to encourage the ones who are overtaken by transgression. Lord that our words would be led by your spirit, we would speak only from what we think we know or by our experience only. That the truth of who you are would come forth in our words to one another. Give us opportunity to be a blessing to friends and family in the faith. Lord when we need to lean on a friend for the encouragement would you set the right ones in place to remind us of who you are and who we are. Give us the boldness to seek those friends and the boldness to be the ones to step into that role. In Jesus Holy and precious name

Amen.
